The second wave of the Ford F-150 Lightning order holders will apparently receive their scheduled for production emails this summer, with customer deliveries to begin in the fall.
Ford has shared the information about the production schedule for the second-wave order holders of the Ford F-150 Lightning.
In the summer of 2022, Ford will send the scheduled for production emails containing a build week and VIN to order holders’ inboxes. Customers will take deliveries in the fall of 2022, respectively, if Ford’s plans do not change.
By the middle of next year, the automaker will ramp up the manufacture of the Ford F-150 Lightning to 150,000 units per year at its Rouge Electric Vehicle Center, given the large bank of orders. Earlier Ford admitted they would not be able to fulfill all customer orders in the 2022 model year.
This spring, the company will be fulfilling the first wave of orders: Ford has already sent invitations to customers to convert reservation to order.
