U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has completed testing the Ford F-150 Lightning and revealed the final electric driving range figures for all trim levels.
Ahead of customer deliveries, the Blue Oval officially confirms the final range according to EPA for the Ford F-150 Lightning, all versions. Ford is satisfied with the final results, as they are even better than the targeted range.
Such trim levels as Pro, XLT, and Lariat are available either with the standard range battery (SR), and the EPA-rated range is 230 miles for them in this case, or with the extended range battery (ER) and 320 miles of range (versus initially targeted 300 miles).
The top-end F-150 Lightning Platinum version can cover 300 miles on a single charge (vs targeted 280 miles). The F-150 Lightning Pro ER comes only for fleet customers.
Long-awaited deliveries begin this spring.
