Although the Blue Oval no longer produces the Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson, the latest generation of the model has been released by another third-party company based on license.
The new Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition has been debuting at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. It is not a Ford’s creature this time, the vehicle’s maker is Tuscany Motor Company, which received respective licenses from both Ford and Harley-Davidson.
The Harley-Davidson Edition is not just a restyled model. Some technical upgrades are made too.
The pickup truck got a BDS suspension with Fox shock absorbers, new 22-inch Harley-Davidson’s “Fat Boy Style” wheels with 35-inch all-terrain tires, the Flowmaster aluminum exhaust pipes with orange accents.
Other innovations are a new hood in the styling of the Ford F-150 Raptor, a honeycomb grille and the same pattern front bumper inserts, a LED light bar integrated into the front bumper cover.
The vehicle also features door sills and numerous decorative elements with Harley-Davidson logos. Color options are Agate Black, White Platinum and Leadfoot.
The interior updates include leather seats with orange stitching, emblems of the motorcycle brand on the carpets, door trim and instrument panel.
As for the drivetrain, the base F-150 remains unchanged. The price starts from $97,415.
