Yakima has been developing add-ons for the coming Ford Bronco full-size off-road SUV.
Yakima (a cargo accessories manufacturer) already made accessories for Ford’s new Explorer and Range, and it seems a real scenario for the revived Bronco to get similar products, although it will reach dealerships no sooner than 2021.
So, when visiting a Ford dealer’s showroom, the buyers in theory will have access to related products from Yakima, like racks for a bike, a kayak or luggage, and even a tent.
Currently people can purchase the accessories of this firm at Ford dealerships with a three-year or 36,000-mile Ford warranty. Extended warranties are also provided.
According to Muscle Cars & Trucks, Yakima is building a line of accessories for the Bronco to offer them at the model launch.
That makes sense, since Ford wants its SUV to challenge to the Jeep Wrangler famous for its aftermarket products.
There is no information now, if such items will come with the Baby Bronco. A production-ready vehicle is on its way to a public premiere, which, as rumored, can happen in early 2020.
