Ford Bronco Raptor of a First Model Year Sold Out

This summer we expect the market launch of the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor rugged SUV (let’s follow the news). By today, the pre-orders have been already sold out.

Ford Bronco Raptor belongs to those models that have become popular even before the introduction. Therefore, it is not surprising that the order bank is full. The first-model-year Ford Bronco Raptor is completely spoken for, as reported by Ford Authority. The hot SUV joins other new sold-out Fords, such as the Maverick, Bronco, Mustang Mach-E, and the Ford Super Duty.

Why is it a strong-demand commodity?

Well, it is still the Bronco loved by many, but some like it hotter. American land is full of off-road areas, wilderness, and the Ford Bronco Raptor is a real full-fledged off-roader. It is almost 10 inches wider than a standard Bronco, has 8.6 inches wider track, a higher 13.1-inch ground clearance, and taller 37-inch all-terrain tires.

Off-Road Features

Let’s take a look at the vehicle’s important features. The Bronco Raptor got a boosted 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine making 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque and paired exclusively to Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to a true dual exhaust setup with active valves allowing sound modulation, the SUV received a number of suspension upgrades. To increase performance, Ford equipped this modification with High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) system with Fox Live Valve tech.

Moreover, the off-road ‘goodies’ include Ford Performance front and rear control arms allowing much more wheel travel, larger tie rods, Ford Performance steel front bumper, upgrades to a transfer case and Dana axles, new Baja and Tow/Haul modes.

Price

Certainly, such an off-road beast cannot be cheap. Starting at $68,500, the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor takes the iconic SUV to the next level.
