A 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades model is in the company’s ordering system, and it may be some sort of appearance or off-road package.
For the 2022 model year, Ford plans to offer a new version of the Bronco SUV, according to Ford Authority’s recent report. This version is called “Everglades”. The word means a natural region of tropical wetlands with a unique ecosystem in Florida.
Apparently, the Bronco Everglades will offer a package for fording water that includes specific styling cues and off-road features akin to the Splash package brought back for the Ford Ranger. By the way, the Blue Oval filed to trademark both the Splash and the Everglades names with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The Ford Bronco Everglades will be available only as a four-door model, with a marine-grade vinyl interior, in the Desert Sand exterior color, with a snorkel for traversing bodies.
Other changes for the 2022 MY include adding Eruption Green and Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat exterior colors, a new front bumper – Capable. The Sasquatch package adds a manual transmission as an option and a roof rack for the 4-door Broncos. The Wildtrak grade will gain a soft-top roof instead of the standard MIC hardtop.
One of the most important news about the 2022 Ford Bronco is a launch of a hot Bronco Raptor. This modification comes with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost six-cylinder engine making 494 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque.
