For the next model year, the Ford Bronco receives a new option – tube doors which can be installed by a dealer.
The Ford Bronco undergoes a few changes for the new, 2022 model year, including the availability of tube doors from Ford Performance.
The company has already demonstrated this option on several Bronco concepts, but soon, by the end of this year, customers will be able to actually purchase such doors.
The tube doors are dealer-installed, come as the extra-pay option for all trim levels. For easy operation, installation and removal, the doors use the Ford Bronco’s factory hinge and door latch.
The preliminary price is $850 for the 2-door Bronco, and $1,360 for the 4-door models, the on-market prices may differ.
Other changes for the 2022 model year include new bumpers, addition of new versions (Everglades, Raptor, and Heritage) and new exterior colors (Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Eruption Green) instead of some old ones.
Moreover, a 7-speed manual transmission can be paired with the off-road Sasquatch Package. This package adds a roof rack option.
