In January at the 2019 NAIAS in Detroit Kia introduced its largest vehicle – the 2020 Kia Telluride, with which the carmaker enters the 3-row mid-size SUV segment. Recently the pricing for America has been announced.
What are the main facts we should know about this model that meets such icons as the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander on the market to compete with?
1. Engine and Transmission
The model is equipped with a 3.8-liter gasoline V6 GDI engine, developing 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft (355Nm) of torque. It works in pair with an electronically controlled eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive are available, as well as six driving modes: Smart, Eco, Sport, Comfort, Snow и AWD Lock. A self-leveling rear suspension adds comfort.

3 . Towing Capacity
The Kia Telluride can standardly tow a cargo up to 5,000 lbs (2,268kg).
The Telluride offers four trim levels: base LX ($31,690), mid-level S ($33,990) and EX ($37,090), top SX ($41,490) with the SX Prestige Option Package (+$4,000) including the all-wheel drive system.

5. Seating Capacity
The newcomer is a 5-door mid-size crossover SUV providing seating for up to 8 occupants.
