The Bavarian automaker has announced the start of deliveries of the BMW i4. The BMW Group’s lineup now includes five all-electric vehicles.

Last weekend, the first BMW i4s were delivered to the BMW Welt in Munich. Thus, the brand begins selling its fifth all-electric vehicle.

Today the brand’s best-selling electric car is the BMW i3. Despite its commercial success, the model will not have a new generation. At the same time, BMW has newer alternatives to the i3. However, they are much more expensive.

The i4 presented at the exhibition center will start at 59,200 euros in Germany. The range-topping 536-hp i4 M50 costs 70,800 euros.

The BMW iX3 crossover priced at 67,300 euros is somewhat lost on the market, but the brand teases the BMW iX which is 10,000 euros more expensive. Unlike the iX3 based on the X3, the iX is a completely new development. By the way, the BMW i3 costs 39,900 euros in Germany today.

As for the USA, here the BMW iX is available to order: the online configurator is live. A base price starts at $83,200.

The BMW i4 is on the way, but the prices for the Gran Coupe are already known. The i4 eDrive40 will cost from $55,400 in America, while the BMW i4 M50 is $65,900, excluding a $7,500 federal tax.
