EV Sales In Norway Continue Booming And Exceeded 50% Of Total Fleet
To date, the number of all-electric and hybrid vehicles (PEVs) on the roads of Norway has exceeded 50% of the total quantity.
Norwegians are great fans of green cars and continue to actively purchase them. Currently more than 30,000 people are on the waiting lists.
According to a study conducted by NRK journalists (domestic media), most EV models will not get to their owners before 2019-2020.
The total amount of pre-orders has already exceeded 400 million krones or 48 million dollars.
For now the Tesla Model 3 (pictured) is the most popular electric model in Norway (more than 10,000 pre-orders). The Audi e-tron quattro is the second in demand: 6,300 people ordered it. The Hyundai Kona Electric is the third (6,000 motorists are waiting for their orders delivery).
The Kia Niro Electric, the new-generation Nissan Leaf, the Jaguar I-Pace, the Porsche Taycan and the Mercedes-Benz EQC hit the list of popular electric cars too.
Norwegians are often the first to get the opportunity for making a pre-order due to popularity of EVs in this country.
