The Blue Oval has suspended retail orders on the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-Eās most affordable and in-demand model.
The base 2023 Mustang Mach-E ā a Select trim level ā is the one the purchasers choose more often than other trims, which are Premium, GT, and California Route 1.
The Mach-E Select is a hot seller, and Ford even had to increase production of this version and pause its further ordering. Fortunately, those who already ordered a Select model wonāt be impacted by this suspension.
In such a way the company tries to make order-to-delivery times more predictable and arranged to order holders.
As Select is unavailable on the configurator, now the Premium trim becomes the cheapest Mustang Mach E.
Unlikely customers will be happy to buy a Mustang Mach-e at $54,975 instead of $46,895, but at least theyāll get more extensive equipment at that money. And don’t forget about incentives (federal tax credit) that may decrease a price.
Letās recall the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E pricing:
- Select RWD Standard Range $46,895
- Select eAWD Standard Range $49,595
- California Route 1 eAWD Extended Range $63,575
- Premium RWD Standard Range $54,975
- Premium eAWD Standard Range $57,675
- GT Extended Range $69,895.
Alas, competitors are also getting more expensive, as well as other Fords, like the F-150 Lightning, for example.
