The main innovation for the updated MINI Clubman and MINI Countryman in the John Cooper Works hot edition has become an upgraded engine. Its power now exceeds 300hp.
In July 2019, updated versions of the MINI John Cooper Works Clubman wagon and the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman SUV will go on sale. The major changes are in the technical part.
Both vehicles have the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine as before, but its output increased by 75hp and now exceeds 302hp. In addition, two performance MINIs received an all-new eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive comes as standard.
The 2020 MINI Clubman JCW and Countryman JCW accelerate to 62mph in 4.9 and 5.1 seconds respectively. They are 1.5 sec faster than their predecessors.
Along with the more powerful engine and new gearbox, the models have got a new exhaust system and high-performance brakes. The Clubman lowered 10 mm closer to the ground.
