The 2021 BMW 5 Series Sedan, BMW 5 Series Touring, BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo will debut tomorrow in a digital form.
You can watch the broadcast of the live stream on Wednesday, May 27th 2020 at 08:00 am CEST on www.live.bmwgroup.com/en, as well as on other BMW Group’s social media channels: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
Seeing the worldwide travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus, BMW has chosen the format of a digital presentation, which is becoming popular now among the carmakers.
All three debuting models are facelifts of the current generations. Expect they will reach dealerships in late 2020.
We’ll hardly see the 5 Series Touring in the USA, since the current version in not on sale there. The next 6 Series Gran Turismo (GT) won’t be present in America too, but it will be launched in other markets.
The 6 Series GT is the sole member of the 6 Series family. BMW introduced it for 2018 as the replacement of the 5 Series GT. The model has not achieved much success, the 2021 update may help.
The BMW 5 Series Facelift got new headlights, revised front and rear facias, tweaks to the taillight signature and a revamped grille.
It the cabin, we look for an updated infotainment system and new electronic driver assistance features.
We don’t expect many changes to the powertrain lineup. The 530i and 540i could get more power. A mild-hybrid technology will be possibly added.
Well, everything will clear up tomorrow.
