Deliveries of 2023 Polestar 2 Begin In October

The Polestar 2 has been updated for the next model year. The 2023 pricing is set now: it is up slightly. Customer deliveries will start from October 2022.

For the 2023 Polestar 2, the automaker optimized the temperature range of the mechanical heat pump, refreshed designs of 19- and 20-inch wheels, added new colors (Space and Jupiter for exterior, Zinc Grey and Light Ash inside), and improved software to increase a total range of the dual-motor model by 11 miles.

Besides, Polestar made some upgrades to the interior particulate sensor, added an advanced cabin filter and a removable sunshade (for cars with a panoramic glass roof).

Moreover, Polestar has partnered Circulor to apply blockchain technology for tracking cobalt, mica, and aluminum to ensure they are sourced and processed with using sustainable energy.

Specs and Prices for 2023 MY

The long-range, single-motor, front-wheel-drive Polestar 2 starts at $49,800. This version’s range is up to 270 miles EPA-rated; acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes 7.0 seconds.

The long-range, dual-motor, all-wheel-drive model is $3,500 more expensive: it costs from $53,300. The vehicle’s driving range is up to 260 miles, and it needs 4.5 seconds to speed up from zero to 60 mph.

The pricing includes extras and a destination charge of $1,400. After a $7,500 federal tax credit, the prices decrease to $42,300 and $45,800, respectively.  

The Plus Package costs an additional $4,200; the Performance Package adding 68 horsepower and 15 pound-feet of torque cost an extra $5,500. The latter is available only on the dual-motor Polestar 2.

The ordering process of the 2023 Polestar 2 suggests a fully refundable $500 deposit. If you place your order today, the estimated delivery will be in October 2022 or later.
