A refreshed Citroën C3 was unveiled by the manufacturer yesterday, on February, 11, 2020.
The new Citroën C3 receives no mechanical changes: its lineup of efficient 3-cylinder petrol (gasoline) PureTech (83-, 110-hp) and diesel BlueHDi (100 hp) Euro 6 combustion engines remains the same. The engines work in combination with 5- and 6-speed manual gearboxes, as well as a EAT6 automatic transmission.
With the 2020 C3, the carmaker focuses on appearance, customization and comfort. In brief, the new C3’s distinctive features are:
- a brand new Citroën signature;
- LED headlights;
- 97 exterior combinations;
- 3 new roof stickers;
- 2 new wheel rims;
- 3 interior color ambiences plus 2 new optional;
- Airbump designs, the brand graphic signature;
- Advanced Comfort seats, first in the segment;
- 12 driving aids;
- a number of connected services (Connect Assist, Connect Nav, Connect Play).
The Citroën C3 is the brand’s global bestseller. The third-generaion model achieved 750,000 sales since its launch in 2016. 4.5 million C3s have been sold overall.
By the end of 2019, the model entered the European TOP 10 most popular subcompact cars. The C3 became the 8th with the result of more than 210,000 sales. It is also the 3rd best-selling vehicle in France.
The hatchback today accounts for 7% of the subcompact (mini car) segment in Europe. The leader here is the Renault Clio.
The new facelift Citroën C3 starts arriving at dealerships from June 2020.
