Chevrolet has brought eight models to the 2021 SEMA Show. The Chevy Beast concept for off-road desert running leads the ‘mission’.
This year SEMA Show (Specialty Equipment Market Association) hosts many interesting exhibits. One of them deserving attention is the Chevy Beast four-passenger off-roader.
The vehicle is based on a modified chassis of the Chevrolet Silverado, and is powered by a Chevrolet Performance LT4 6.2-liter V8 650-hp crate engine with a supercharger. The unit pairs a 10L90 10-speed automatic transmission. It adopts the four-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case.
The ground clearance is 13.5 inches, the track is 91 inches, the maximum suspension travel is 12 inches (front) and 15.5 inches (rear), the wheelbase is 126.87 inches. The Chevy Beast features specific 20 x 10-inch Raceline wheels, 37 x 13.5-inch AMP Terrain Attack M/T tires, Brembo front brakes with six-piston calipers.
Besides, the automaker demonstrates Chevy trucks and Chevrolet Performance components on seven 2022 models, namely:
- three Silverados – ZR2, Country Midnight Concept, 3500HD Hoonigan Concept;
- two Colorados – ZR2 Extreme Off-Road, Off-Road Performance Edition;
- Suburban Street Concept;
- Tahoe Z71 Overlanding Concept.
All vehicles represent Chevrolet’s latest visions of personalization and performance.
