The Chevrolet Corvette production has been suspended again, as the manufacturer does not have all the necessary parts to build the model now.
Due to global supply shortages (microchips and not only), the automaker is running out of some parts and options to timely produce the Chevrolet Corvette and has to cease the manufacture, according to Carbuzz.
This is sad news for those who have placed an order for a Corvette and are waiting for delivery, but much more unpleasant things are happening in the world today. The particular parts to blame include the Magnetic Ride Control, spoilers, Black Trident wheels, and especially tire pressure sensors.
It is unclear now when the Chevrolet Corvette production will normalize. The 2023 Corvette Z06 is also affected. Automotive experts forecast the overall car industry will experience shortages until next year at best. Order holders of the Corvette and its Z06 version will have to be patient and wait longer than expected.
