The first retail example, a blue-colored 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray 3LZ VIN 001, went under the hammer at the famous U.S. auction for a seven-figure sum.

What We Know of the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray
The Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray 3LZ coupe starts at $113,850 (MSRP excluding a destination charge, tax, title, license, dealer fees, and options). So, the cost of the auctioned car increased almost 10 times within just about 30 minutes!
The starting prices for the Corvette E-Ray 1LZ and 2LZ are $102,900 and 108,400, respectively. The E-Ray hybrid has gone out in public earlier this month at the New York Internation Auto Show, accompanied by other new Chevrolets.
The Corvette is a classic sports car and America’s national treasure, so to say, along with the Ford Mustang. Finally, after 70 years and 8 generations, this traditional rear-wheel-drive model gets an all-wheel drive system for the first time: e-AWD is standard for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray. 495 hp come from a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine and 160 hp from the e‑AWD (electric drive unit), the total output is 655 hp.
The E-Ray is not only the first hybrid and all-wheel-drive Corvette, but it is also the fastest variant of the model, with a zero to 60 mph time of just 2.5. seconds. The car is made for all-season touring.
