2022 Chevrolet C8 Corvette adds three new colors. Orders will open starting from July 2021.
2022 will be the third model year of the eighth-generation mid-engine Corvette. Pricing for the newcomer has not been announced yet, but it should not be much higher than the current 2021 model’s $60,995.
The addition of a pair of new colors for the 2021 model year raised the price by one thousand dollars. This time, for the next 2022 model year, there is a trio of new stylish color choices. They are Hypersonic Gray Metallic and Caffeine Metallic, as well as a premium Amplify Orange.
The Chevy C8 Corvette is available with a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter eight-cylinder engine. It delivers 490 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. 0-60 mph acceleration takes 2.8 seconds, while the car covers a quarter-mile distance in 11.2 seconds at the speed of 122 mph.

When making a review of the Chevy C8 Corvette, experts note its breakneck acceleration, a well-trimmed, well-packed, and roomy cabin, ample cargo space, agility and drive comfort, well-predicted reliability rating, comparatively affordable starting price.
Even great cars have drawbacks. In the case of the Corvette, it is limited rear visibility and a lack of a manual gearbox.
