A new engine will be offered for Chevrolet Blazer crossovers of the 2020 model year.
The 2.0-liter unit with a turbocharger joined the Chevy Blazer’s motor range, according to Car and Driver. It delivers 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque.
Thus, buyers will be able to choose from three engines: a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder 193-hp one, a 3.6-liter 308-hp V6, as well as the mentioned four-cylinder 230-hp turbo motor.
All the three are combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a Stop-Start system.
Chevrolet has not announced the fuel consumption and prices yet. They will be known closer to October, when the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer arrives to dealers.
