Subaru BRZ Enters Its Next Model Year with a New Version and Higher Price

The 2024 Subaru BRZ will be available at dealerships early next year. Meanwhile, Subaru has announced new pricing and specifications.

The BRZ’s current generation debuted as a 2022 model, so, it is relatively young and needs no overhaul. Its zesty flat four-cylinder engine remains the same, nevertheless, some changes have been made for the 2024 model year. Consumer interest, like a fire, needs to be constantly maintained.

So, the manufacturer added a new tS version to the BRZ lineup. It features dark gray metallic 18-inch wheels in sport tires, bigger rotors, revised pads, Hitachi suspension dampers, and several visual distinctions inside and out (badging, stitching, colors, and finish).

Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist tech comes standard now across the lineup, including models with the 6-speed manual transmission.

As is often the case with new iterations, prices have increased and are as follows:

  • Premium $31,315
  • Limited $33,815 for manual transmission cars and $34,765 for 6-speed automatics
  • tS $36,465

including a $1,120 destination charge.

The previous prices, just to compare, were $29,615 Premium 6MT, $32,115 Limited 6MT; $31,115 Premium 6AT, $33,815 Limited 6AT.

The Subaru BRZ is an excellent choice in the sports car segment. It offers agile handling, lively acceleration, intuitive tech features, and a comfortable interior, except for tight rear seats but that’s typical for a sports car.
