On its website, Cadillac informs that the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq reservation models are equipped with Rear-Wheel Drive only.
According to Rory Harvey, Vice President of Global Cadillac,
the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq will deliver a high-performance luxury experience setting a new standard for Cadillac.
The model is the second after the GMC Hummer EV to use the Ultium powertrain platform. And it is the first all-new pure electric vehicle of General Motors on this architecture.
Cadillac says the model can cover over 300 miles on a full charge. The SUV’s power output is 340 horsepower (255 kW) and 325 lb.-ft. (440Nm) of torque.
Among the multiple goodies of the new model, there is a 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display, Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance tech, a Black Crystal shield with 3D texturing instead of a traditional grille.
Besides, the vehicle features choreographed LED lighting, a Cadillac-exclusive AKG Studio 19-speaker sound system, a dual onboard charging package.
One more useful function – Active Noise Cancellation – uses sensors in each wheel to calibrate quietness in the cabin tuned to real-time road impact and suspension data.
