The Cadillac InnerSpace Сoncept, a two-person, autonomous, luxury electric vehicle, has been revealed on January 5 at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show.
The model grows the Cadillac Halo Concept Portfolio that represents personal autonomous options and advanced connectivity features for future cars.
The autonomous vehicles of the Cadillac Halo Concept Portfolio are visions for the next decade and beyond, official press release reports. The Cadillac InnerSpace Сoncept 2-seater virtually unveiled during the CES 2022 is one of them. The rest are a single-seat PersonalSpace, a SocialSpace for up to 6 (introduced at the CES 2021), and an OpenSpace model (will be introduced later).
The Cadillac InnerSpace Сoncept features GM’s Ultifi software platform that delivers over-the-air software updates (adds new themes and functions). AI-driven biometric input and interfaces are accessible via a big, immersive, and panoramic SMD LED display. Passengers can choose from Augmented Reality Engagement, Entertainment, and Wellness Recovery themes.
To optimize the cabin space, battery modules are spread about the vehicle. A low-profile floor provides a very low seating position.
Extensive panoramic glass on the roof and body sides highlights the exterior. The roof opens with the doors; the seats pivot outward when the doors open.
The Cadillac InnerSpace Concept’s Goodyear tires feature SoundComfort technology to mitigate soundwave resonance within the tire. Key ingredients in tire structure are soybean oil and rice husk-based silica instead of petroleum-based oil. Goodyear SightLine tire intelligence technology conveys information about temperature, pressure, load, and other performance data.
