The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V will be unveiled on May 11, 2022, and will be arriving at retailers starting from July.
The Cadillac Escalade gets a V series variant for the 2023 model year whose debut will take place on May 11 on the brand’s website cadillac.com. The Escalade-V is the first SUV to join the fourth-generation V series, which already included the CT4-V, CT5-V, CT5-V Blackwing, and CT4-V Blackwing.
In late January 2022, the carmaker revealed its plan to add the Cadillac Escalade-V as a 2023 model. This version of the popular full-size SUV is expected to have a supercharged LT4 V8 engine that also powers the CT5-V Blackwing sedan.
General Motors Performance Division introduced the V series as a lineup of high-performance vehicles tuned for the Cadillac division. The V series models usually vary from one generation to another. The 2004 Cadillac CTS-V was the first-ever V car, and it was successful on the market.
V series Cadillac vehicles are traditionally equipped with high-performance V8 engines and transmissions, and revised suspension systems (MagneRide Control). Compared to their normal counterparts, they have more aggressive bodywork, improved aerodynamic performance, and a somewhat different interior.
The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V will begin arriving at dealerships in the 2nd half of this year.
