The newest BMW iX M60 crossover will be officially unveiled this month in the United States. It is the most powerful model in the brand’s electric lineup to date.
The BMW iX M60 crossover is the first all-electric model of the M division and the most powerful in the BMW Group’s electric lineup. The automaker calls this class Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV).
With the output of 619 hp a maximum torque is 749 lb-ft (1,015 Nm) in normal mode and increases to 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) in sports mode, according to an official BMW press release.
The BMW iX M60 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds. The top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). The driving range of the ‘hot’ crossover reaches 352 miles (566 kilometers) according to WLTP test cycle.
The BMW iX M60 is produced alongside other all-electric models at the BMW Group’s plant in Dingolfing. Its world premiere takes place at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 5-7, 2022. The global market entry will begin in June 2022.
We’d like to add that the base BMW iX is arriving at dealers in Europe, it is available for ordering in the USA. The iX starts at €77,300.00 in Germany and $83,200 in the United States of America.
