At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 taking place in Las Vegas on January 7-10, BMW Group will present its visionary approaches to future e-mobility. The main highlight at the brand’s booth will be the BMW i3 Urban Suite.
The i3 is the global best-seller in the premium compact EV segment. The Urban Suite version of the model is a sustainable mobility concept tailored to individual needs of the passengers.
The carmaker completely transformed a conventional BMW i3 (with the exception of the driver’s seat and dashboard) to a boutique hotel inside.
Its cabin is a perfect place for relaxing, entertainment or work in a laid-back setting. There is a big and comfortable seat with footrest, a personal sound zone and a flipping-down screen.
BMW used fabrics of recyclable materials, certified wood and olive-tanned leather.
The manufacturer converted a fleet of standard BMW i3 vehicles into the Urban Suites in Munich and then brought them to Las Vegas.
People can see them on the city’s streets and even order a car to be chauffeur-driven to a needed destination.
