Recently BMW has published a first official image of the new 8 Series Gran Coupe and confirmed it unveiling this summer.
The all-new 2019 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe has flashed on the teaser image. The carmaker will present it in Munich between June 25 and 27, 2019 at a special event.
It comes to rival the Porsche Panamera and the Mercedes CLS. The vehicle joins the 8 Series Coupe and Convertible, but compared to them it has extended wheelbase and body, more space inside.
Expect the potent M8 version too, with over 630hp of output. The 4-door Gran Coupe will be the priciest and largest model in the 8 Series lineup.
The model will be powered by the same engines as other 8 Series cars. It is about a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder 324-hp diesel and a 4.4.-liter 537-hp gasoline twin-turbo V8.
