Audi has refreshed the Audi A4 Avant, which should arrive in 2020. The pre-series car is undergoing road tests.
The roof, windows and doorways remain the same. Doors, fenders, a grille and bumpers are new. In summer 2018 the automaker presented the little-changed A4 of the sedan and wagon body styles.
The 2020 Audi A4 Avant wagon will change more significantly. Its massive tailpipes of the exhaust system may suggest that this is a powerful RS4 Avant version. But the shape of the pipes and the bumper’s design make us think that this is just an A4 Avant.
No changes are expected in the motor range, except that the engines will in compliance with the current environmental standards.
The interior is redesigned and comprises the latest versions of multimedia and digital instrument panel, as well as part of the equipment from the new Audi A6.
The restyled Audi A4 and Audi A4 Avant will likely premiere before the end of 2019. Audi may unveil its new products at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Sales start in 2020.
