Audi TT RS Leaves America After 2022 Model Year

The Audi TT RS will not be available on the U.S. market after the 2022MY. The carmaker has announced a limited-run 2022 Audi TT RS Heritage Edition as a farewell of the remarkable coupe.

The Audi TT RS is exiting the U.S. car market: the 2022 model year is the final one for the high-performance model. The manufacturer offers the 2022 Audi TT RS Heritage Edition to celebrate the TT RS leaving, in the quantity of just 50 cars – 10 cars in each of the five different color combinations available.

Those heritage colors celebrate the legendary Audi Ur-quattro powered by Audi’s storied 5-cylinder engine. They are:

  • Alpine White with Ocean Blue leather and Diamond Silver stitch
  • Helios Blue metallic Diamond Silver leather and Ocean Blue stitch
  • Stone Gray metallic with Crimson Red leather and Jet Gray stitch
  • Tizian Red metallic with Havanna Brown leather and Jet Gray stitch
  • Malachite Green metallic with Cognac Brown leather and Black stitch

The Audi TT RS Heritage Edition has a distinctive “HERITAGE EDITION” script followed by the firing order of the 5-cylinder engine “1-2-4-5-3” and underlined by a “quattro” script.

The model’s standard equipment includes OLED taillights, specific anthracite finished 20-inch wheels, exclusive etching, Alcantara shift lever and Alcantara steering wheel with a 12 o’clock marker, Alu-optic exterior elements, floor mats with an RS logo, sport exhaust tips in black, an electric spoiler and a 174-mph top speed limiter.

The 5-cylinder engine produces 394 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque and allows the TT RS Coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

2022 is the last model year for the Audi TT RS in the United States, but, for some time, the coupe will be present in other markets.

American sales of the 2022 Audi TT RS and the 2022 Audi TT RS Heritage Edition should start before this year ends. They cost $74,245 and $82,495 respectively, including a destination charge, excluding taxes, title, options, and other fees.

Audi will continue selling other models in the U.S. In particular, the new RS 3 goes on sale next summer.
