Audi won’t sell the RS Q3 in the Unites States, according to Audi USA spokesman Mark Dahncke.
The German manufacturer of premium cars launched a new 2020 Audi RS Q3 and a sleeker RS Q3 Sportback in Europe in September 2019.
Under the hood, there is a 2.5-liter inline 5-cylinder turbo engine up to 400 hp and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel-drive system.
The top speed is 155 mph (250 km) and 174 mph (280 km) with the performance pack, 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration takes 4.5 seconds.
The RS versions, especially of the Q3 model, are really exciting, and U.S. supporters of the brand hoped they would reach the shores of North America.
Recently Audi has disappointed American automotive enthusiasts saying that the Audi RS Q3 and the RS Q3 Sportback will not be on sale in the USA, Motor Autority reported. The regular Audi Q3 Sportback is not sold there too.
Instead, Americans will have to look towards Mercedes-AMG’s new GLB45 and GLA45 and be content with the Audi RS6 Avant…
