Audi Q3 Saves the Four Rings Sales In the US Car Market

Demand for Audi in the United States continues declining. The new Audi Q3 gives hope to boost sales.

16,130 Audi vehicles were sold in the USA in September 2019. This is almost 17 percent less than last year. Demand has been dropping throughout the current year – minus 5 percent over 9 months.

The new Audi Q3 adds some optimism. Its sales increased by 58 percent to 1,820 units. The U.S. market expected for the second-generation Q3. As we can see, pent-up demand is somewhat improving the negative trend.

The 2019 Audi Q3 US price starts at $34,700. By comparison, the rivaling Volvo XC40 costs from $34,345 (a base version). There is almost no difference.

New mid- and full-size models are sold well in America. In particular, in September demand for the Audi A6 increased by 128%, for the Audi A7 – by 108%, for the flagship A8 – by 162%.

Moreover, the Audi A6 allroad will likely return to the USA. Its new generation has been recently introduced. A smaller Audi A4 allroad is currently on sale in the country.
