The digital premiere of the 2021 Audi e-tron GT electric sedan will take place on February 9.
The 2021 Audi e-tron GT has an electric motor on each axle, comes with all-wheel-drive. The total output reaches 582 horsepower, the driving range is decent 249 miles (European test cycle).
Set to rival the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan Turbo S, the e-tron GT rides on Porsche’s J1 architecture. Audi will produce the car on the same production line as the R8.
We’ve already seen the images of prototypes. According to Audi, a production vehicle will be 95 percent the same inside and out.
The estimated price of the Audi e-tron GT is around $100,000. A high performance 637-hp RS e-tron GT should arrive too by the end of 2021, with a claimed 0-60 mph acceleration definitely under 3.5 seconds, while the standard e-tron GT speeds up in around 3.5 sec.
We expect e-tron GT will be available at dealers short after the debut – in March-April.
