Audi E-tron Becomes the 9th in Europe’s Large SUV Segment

The Audi e-tron electric crossover confidently started on the European market.

6,364 Audi e-trons were sold in the European car market according to the results of the first half of 2019. Thus, the all-electric crossover entered the TOP 10 most popular large luxury SUVs in Europe.

The e-tron is the ninth. It is ahead of the Porsche Cayenne or the Land Rover Discovery. The EV could even overtake the Land Rover Range Rover by about 400 units.

In Germany, the Audi e-tron costs from 80,900 EUR. For comparison: the base price of the Audi Q7 is 66,900 EUR, the Audi Q8‘s – from 74,300 EUR.

Interestingly, the electric crossover is more affordable on the US market. Its initial price is $74,800 there.

As for the leaders of the European luxury SUV segment, in 2019 the first in terms of sales is the BMW X5, the second is the Land Rover Range Rover Sport, the third is the Volvo XC90.
