A new series of photos of the all-new Audi Q4 have become available for viewers thanks to the efforts of car paparazzi. Audi is actively testing the model whose design it finalized.
The exterior of the test car is similar to the Q3’s. Except that its roofline is lower, a rear windscreen is sloping and a tailgate is squarer.
Audi promises a particular feature that will make the Q4 different from other vehicles of the brand.
The Audi Q4 is based on the TT Offroad concept. It shares the MQB platform with the second-generation Q3, though the Q4 is a bit longer.
We expect the interior of the upcoming model to comprise all newest Audi’s and VW’s developments (full-HD instrument displays, gesture control, latest connectivity functions, a 9.2” screen etc.)
The motor range will include new and updated 1.5- and 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline/petrol and diesel units.
Audi will offer a fully new 2.5-liter 406-hp five-cylinder gasoline engine for the high-end version. A PHEV variant will be also available.
Audi unveils the model and sends it to production at its plant in Győr, Hungary next year. It will be part of Audi’s style-oriented SUV lineup to which the Audi e-tron and Q8 belong too.
