Aston Martin V12 Vantage Debuts on March 16

Next Aston Martin V12 Vintage

The manufacturer has confirmed it will unveil the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage supercar next week – on March 16, 2022.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage is “the final descendent of its lineage that marks the end of an era,” according to the British carmaker. The company promises its V12 engine will justify Aston Martin’s efforts to make it compliant with EURO 7 emissions standards.

Some rumors say the 12-cylinder engine is a twin-turbo 5.2-liter one inherited from the DB11 and DBS models. Expect it will deliver between 630-700 horsepower and will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission sourced from ZF.

Compared to the predecessor, the new V12 Vantage will have a much bigger front grille, new vertical air intakes, carbon fiber front splitter that enhances downforce, a large twin exhaust, upgraded chassis, and a new infotainment system.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage is one of ten new versions of existing models the manufacturer plans to launch within the next 2 years.

A replacement of the current Vintage comes in 2025, and it will be a fully electric sports coupe. A plug-in hybrid model is in the pipeline too.
