Due to the COVID-19, two Genesis models will enter the U.S. market later.
The automaker has announced that their arrivals are postponed from the summer to the fall 2020.
The G80 slots in between the smaller G70 and the larger G90 sedans. It is a rival to the BMW 5 Series and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The GV80 will compete with the BMW X5, Audi Q7 or the Mercedes-Benz GLE.
The G80 and the GV80 both feature unique double headlights, a huge pentagonal grille, and a luxury-lined cabin. They share the platform and the powertrain.
There are two engine choices, mated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and either rear- or all-wheel drive. The first, base one is a 2.5-liter 300-hp inline turbo-four, the second is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter 375-hp V6.
