Hennessey Tuner School again took up the tuning of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. This time, the Americans created the world’s most powerful and fastest SUV. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk from Hennessey accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds.
The performance Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk has become the basis. Its 6.2-liter V8 motor got a new mechanical compressor developed by Hennessey. The power increased from 717 to 1,218 liters. The maximum torque enlarged to 1,354 Nm.
The Hennessey’s Jeep Grand Cherokee is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, that is, faster than the Tesla Model X P100D and the Bugatti Chiron hypercar. The quarter-mile ride takes 9.66 seconds, and the top speed is 320 km/h.
The SUV also received special Nitto 555R drag racing tires sized 275/40 R20. Interestingly, by pressing the button, you can now turn off the front axle and make the vehicle rear wheel drive.
Hennessey will tune only 24 units of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk. The price is 179,000 dollars.
