All-New Forester Helps Subaru Beat US Sales Record
Last month was the best February in the history of Subaru of America. A great contribution to this success was made by the new-generation Forester crossover.
Subaru has reported about record sales in the USA in February 2019. More than 49,000 cars were sold, that is 4% more than in February 2018. Moreover, February has become the 60th consecutive month, when the Japanese automaker sold over 40,000 vehicles in the U.S.
The 2019 Subaru Forester was sold well last month. More than 13,000 people have become owners of the crossover, and the demand for it has increased by 13% compared to the same month in 2018. The reason for the growing popularity of the model is the arrival of its new generation.
Today the 2019 Forester costs from $24,295.
The Subaru Ascent started well. The biggest SUV of the brand went on sale only last year and is still very confident on the market. More than 6,000 Americans chose it in February. The starting price of the 2019 Subaru Ascent in the USA is from $31,995.
We also look forward to the debut of the 2020 Subaru Legacy. The new-generation sedan will be presented in 2019. Japanese developers promise the safest, most advanced and, generally speaking, the best Legacy ever. We’ll see.
Thus, Subaru has a very promising position in the US car market. However, the Outback, Impreza and Crosstrek sales could be better, but this is another story.
