All-New 2023 Volkswagen Amarok Debuts on July 7

The new Volkswagen Amarok will share parts and components with the Ford Ranger.

The Volkswagen Amarok is in production for the twelfth year. The pickup was upgraded once – in 2016. Therefore, the change of generation of one of the most popular pickups in Europe is expected and opportune.

Today it is already known that the new 2023 Amarok will share components with the latest-generation Ford Ranger. This integration is part of an agreement between VW and Ford on commercial vehicles. The two auto giants signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” in 2018.

By the way, Ford and Volkswagen worked together in the past. The two brands joined forces in the 90s and created a 7-seater MPV Ford Galaxy, Volkswagen Sharan, and SEAT Alhambra, AutoExpress reports.
