The brand has revealed images of the first-ever battery electric Jeep SUV.
Jeep continues to electrify its portfolio. As part of this strategy and the company’s vision of Zero Emission Freedom, on March 1, Stellantis showed the pictures of the upcoming Jeep BEV SUV during its Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan presentation. The automaker will launch this new product in early 2023.
Jeep promises to inform the public more in the coming months. Today the available images allow us to evaluate the appearance with typical Jeep traits, like a 7-section grille, a bulky body, but there are no technical details so far. We are especially interested in what a driving range will be.
By the way, there is an interesting thing: the vehicle’s rear door handles are not in their conventional place, we see them up by the window.
Stellantis will add two more electric Jeeps in 2024: a family SUV that is the battery-electric version of the Wrangler, and an off-road utility vehicle.
