No sooner did Ford introduce the 2021 Bronco, than an aftermarket offer has already appeared. It is about a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 swap into the all-new SUV.
If you want a potent V8 engine instead of factory mounted four and six cylinders, a tuner Pax Power provide you with this option, but it costs $30,000 on top of the standard Bronco.
Two engine upgrades are possible: a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter 8-cylinder mill with 400 hp (298 kW) and 400 lb-ft of torque, or a supercharged 758-p (565 kW) one. They come with a manual transmission.
The Ford Bronco itself will be available from the factory with either a 2.3-liter EcoBoost 270-hp (310 lb-ft) four-cylinder turbo engine or a twin-turbo 2.7-liter 310-hp V6 (400 lb-ft).
The both are mated to a 10-speed manual gearbox, but it won’t be the one the V8 engines use. That’s why the upgrade from Pax Power includes the transmission as well.
