A large 3-row Lexus SUV, supposedly with an ‘LT’ or ‘TX’ nameplate, may debut in spring 2023 as a more refined and luxurious counterpart of the Toyota Grand Highlander.
The Toyota Grand Highlander will be unveiled on February 8, 2023. A similar model from the luxury class – the Lexus LT/TX – is also in the pipeline, and some rumors say it will hit the market next fall or winter.
According to bestcarweb insider, it will look like this:
As we can see, the future vehicle will receive a Lexus LX-styled frameless grille, headlights connected by a LED strip, taillights as one continuous narrow line, a “floating roof” and rear pillars evoking an association with the Land Rover Range Rover Velar.
Like the Toyota Grand Highlander, the Lexus LT/TX is underpinned by the TNGA-K platform with a transverse arrangement of the engine, and the engine lineup will include either a gasoline 3.5-liter V6 alone or in the hybrid setup in pair with an electric motor on the rear axle.
