The manufacturer has added a new SX Package to the Toyota Tundra for the new model year.
The latest-generation Toyota Tundra is available in a number of versions, with an array of options and configurations. To make it even more varied, Toyota has introduced the SX Package for the 2023 model year.
2023 Toyota Tundra SX Package
The package is offered only on SR5 models in 4×2 or 4×4, on Double Cab with a 6.5-foot bed, and CrewMax with a 5.5-foot bed. The SX Package comes with Dark Gray Metallic 18-inch wheels and a black treatment.
Black-out details include a 4×4 badge on the tailgate, outer door handles, the rear inboard bumper, and accents inside. Door handles are removed for the Tundra to look more minimalistic.
There are 4 exterior color choices for the 2023 Toyota Tundra SX: Midnight Black Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, and White.
Let’s recall what the new Toyota Tundra brought
The new-generation Toyota Tundra was unveiled in 2021. It offers a standard i-FORCE 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine making 389 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque, and a hybrid i-FORCE MAX powertrain with a total output of 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet.
The max towing capacity of the truck is up to 12,000 pounds: 17.6% over the previous Tundra. The maximum payload increased to 1,940 lbs (+ 11%). The model comes with a modernized suspension and many features to help make towing easier, such as a Blind Spot Monitor, an integrated trailer brake controller, or a Panoramic View Monitor.
One of the highlights of the latest Tundra is the huge 14-inch touchscreen of Toyota’s new-gen audio multimedia system. The Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 Active Safety suite is standard for the 2023 model.
