The all-new pure electric 2023 Subaru Solterra reservations are open on February 8, 2022. The model is available to reserve in a limited number.
The Solterra Retailer Reservation Opportunity starts at 12 p.m. Eastern Time today, on the company’s official website. U.S. purchasers can select a preferred retailer, the crossover’s trim or color, and pay a refundable reservation fee of $250 for a Subaru Solterra.
In April-May 2022, customers will be able to make their final orders and know the pricing and availability information. Deliveries are scheduled to begin this summer. Expect the 2023 Subaru Solterra’s base price will be about $45,000.
To provide convenient electric driving, Subaru has partnered with the EVgo, America’s largest public fast-charging network fully powered by renewable energy.
The Solterra is mechanically and visually similar to the Toyota bZ4X but has some subtle styling motifs of Subaru. The vehicle has an all-wheel-drive system, a pair of electric motors generating 215 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. Its driving range exceeds 220 miles on a single charge. The crossover has a “Grip Control” feature and offers a choice of four drive modes: Eco, Normal, Power, and X-mode. The ground clearance is 8.3 inches.
