The carmaker adds a new off-road-oriented version – 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek – to the SUV’s lineup. Sales will begin in late summer.
The all-wheel-drive-only Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek is designed for adventurous families. The company has added new off-road features without sacrificing comfort and conveniences.
Horsepower and torque have been increased from 284 to 295 hp and 259 to 270 pound-feet. The towing capacity of the Rock Creek version is up to 6,000 pounds.
Key additions include Rock Creek badging, all-terrain tires, 18-inch Beadlock-style wheels, a V-motion dark grille with mesh insert, off-road-tuned suspension with 5/8-inch lift, and a tubular roof rack with up to 220-lb load capacity.
The seats are trimmed in fabric + leatherette with Rock Creek embroidery; there is orange contrast stitching all over the cabin.
The standard equipment includes 2nd-row captain’s chairs, LED fog lights, a tow hitch receiver and harness, and an intelligent around-view monitor that has off-road mode. 6 mono-tone colors and 4 two-tone combinations are available for the model’s exterior.
