The new Kia Telluride will be displayed very soon, on April 13, 2022, at the New York International Auto Show. On the eve of the event, the carmaker offers the first glimpse of the model.
The 2023 Kia Telluride 7- and 8-seater will be exhibited on the brand’s stand at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center next week (Wednesday) at 10:10 a.m. Eastern time. The premiere will be also streamed live at Kia.com and across social channels of Kia America.
The next Kia Telluride offers new design elements, both exterior and interior. The model, which is the brand’s best-selling SUV, will get a number of improvements on the technological and convenience/comfort side. New trims will be available, including an X-Pro version, as well as an all-wheel-drive system.
The current 2022 Telluride offers 4 trim levels: LX, S, EX, SX, with MSRP from $33,090 to $42,990. It has a 3.8-liter 292-hp V6 engine and 5,000 pounds of towing capacity.
In addition to the introduction of the new Telluride, Kia readies to launch a hybrid Sportage on the U.S. market this spring and has already announced its pricing.
A base LX variant with front-wheel drive costs $28,545, and $30,345 with all-wheel drive; a mid-level EX is $32,245, and a top-level SX-Prestige is priced at $37,445; the last two are AWD only. The pricing includes a destination fee.
The Kia Sportage HEV is bigger in every dimension than the predecessor. It has a hybrid powertrain under the hood that comprises a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and a 44-kW motor with a total output of 227 hp. Fuel efficiency achieves 39 mpg, driving range is over 500 miles.
