The carmaker dubs 2022 as the Year of the Crossover and kicks it off with the all-new 2023 Honda HR-V.
This year, the new-generation 2023 Honda HR-V crossover will be launched in North America. Today the company has officially released a pair of digital sketches of a pre-production model to give us an idea of how the upcoming vehicle looks like.
The new HR-V has already made its European debut, but the US version is different. It has undergone a dramatic transformation and looks much sportier and more muscular with its new grille, huge wheels and sculpted hood compared to the current, rather boring HR-V.
The exterior seems bolder than that of the European model. The 2023 Honda HR-V features sleek headlights with striking daytime running lights at the front, and more acutely angled windows and new big taillights at the rear.
No technical information has been revealed yet. The European HR-V comes with an e:HEV powertrain comprising two electric motors combined with an i-VTEC gasoline engine. Not the fact that the American version will get the same. We’ll keep an eye on the crossover and wait for the next batch of news about it.
