2023 Ford Super Duty Unveiled: Expect it On Sale Early Next Year

As expected, the Blue Oval has introduced a redesigned lineup of the 2023 Ford Super Duty (Ford F-Series Super Duty).

The 2023 Ford Super Duty trucks bring next-level connectivity, tech, and capability.

Engines

The improved engine range includes two gasoline V8s – a 6.8-liter 405 hp/445 lb-ft engine and a 7.3 liter 430-hp/485 lb-ft one, and two diesel 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8s – one with 475 hp and 1,050 pound-feet of torque and a high-output turbocharged engine with unique tuning and upgraded exhaust manifolds for the best-in-class 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque.

All versions come with a 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission; the XLT and above trim levels are equipped with all-wheel drive.

Pro Power Onboard

This system with 2.0-kW output is now available for the model. It allows tapping into the energy source already found in the Ford Super Duty to power a tailgate party or Jobsite, for example. Power outlets can be accessible inside the vehicle including its cargo box and chassis cab.

Driver Assistance

The newly available technologies serve to simplify towing and build confidence. They include Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, trailer navigation, a 360-degree trailer camera system, a tailgate-down camera and a tailgate-down reverse sensing system (industry firsts), a blind spot information system for Fifth Wheel & Gooseneck, and onboard scales with Smart Hitch.

Safety and Security

There are new technologies available too, such as a full-color head-up display, Front and Rear Brake Assist, Fleet Start Inhibit, Trailer Theft Alert, intelligent adaptive cruise control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, a forward/reverse sensing system, and a vehicle security system with a Ford Pro telematics subscription.

Interior

The cabin is packed with an 8-inch center display, a customizable 12-inch digital instrument cluster, 4 USB power ports, a wireless charging pad, a center console slot to hold a tablet upright, Max Recline seats, a B&O sound system and Alexa Built-in hands-free feature.
