2023 Ford Ranger Raptor Is Available to Order, Deliveries in Summer

Order banks already opened for the all-new 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor in Europe and Australia. The North American market will meet the hardcore Ranger version next year.

The other day (on May 19), Ford of Europe announced that customers could place orders for the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor. Its starting price in Germany is €77,338, meaning the newcomer is one of the most expensive Ford vehicles in the European market.

The configurator and prices are not yet available in Great Britain: they will be made public tomorrow.

In Australia, where the Ford Ranger is in high demand, the new 2023 model has been available to order since April 2022, and it is priced at $85,490 (about $6K more than the previous one) plus on-road costs, according to Carscoops.

Customer deliveries begin this summer in Europe. The first Ranger Raptors will be arriving at dealer showrooms in Australia starting from June. U.S. deliveries are expected in 2023, we’ll know a more exact time later.

The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor for the USA and Australia comes with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 making 392 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. In other markets, the pickup will offer a 284-hp 362-lbft variant of that engine that produces 30% more power than the outgoing diesel Ranger Raptor.

The engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive with lockers front and rear.

The next Ranger Raptor features FOX Live Valve dampers, 7 selectable drive modes, a class-exclusive exhaust system offering 4 varying levels of loudness, and a range of options.

Highlights in the cabin include a leather-trimmed heated steering wheel, red stitching, shift paddles made of magnesium, a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10-speaker B&O sound system.
