Ford F-150 Tremor

The Ford F-150 Tremor has undergone changes for the 2023 model year. The main news is about a naturally-aspirated Ford 5.0L V8 Coyote engine that becomes a base one for the model.

The Ford F-150 pleases with an abundance of both individual options and versions. Indeed, the most American pickup truck in the world should always remain on the wave of popularity while competitors tread on its heels. For off-road drivers, the Blue Oval offers several choices: F-150 Raptor, a less hardcore and cheaper F-150 Tremor, 2023 F-150 Rattler slotting beneath the Tremor, and a range-topping most powerful 2023 F-150 Raptor R that has just debuted.

The 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor comes standard with the naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter eight-cylinder engine known as “Coyote”, the latest news says. The Coyote is engineered by Ford Motor, and since 2011 it has powered two Fords – the Mustang GT and F-150.

A twin-turbo 3.5L V6 EcoBoost remains an option for the next Tremor. Currently, it is the only engine variant for this version. The V6 produces 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, and the V8 delivers 400 hp and 410 lb-ft.

Ford also drops the F-150 Tremor’s standard 400A equipment group and will use a 401A “Mid” equipment group instead, meaning this particular model to become at least $6K pricier.

In addition to the above-mentioned Rattler and Raptor R, the 2023 F-150 lineup includes a Heritage Edition model. Order banks for the 2023 Ford F-150 have already opened.

By the way, another pickup of the brand will receive a Tremor version – the 2023 Ford Maverick. It is passing road tests and has just caught the eye of photo spies.
